Fuel FT96 Treadmill Review
The FT96 is the "big brother" of the FT94. It has very similar features. Here is a quick review of the feature list.
The FT96 model has a slightly more powerful motor. At 2.5 hp motor, it's stronger when compared to the lighter and smaller 2.25 hp motor of FT94.
Instead of having just 10 inclines, it has up to 12 inclines. Compared to FT94, it has a much bigger dot matrix console. The FT94 has 5 preset programs. But for the FT96, you can add an additional 2 user programs on top of the 5 preset programs.
It has a larger running surface, 20 by 58 inches, instead of 20 by 55 inches. As the motor is more powerful, there is built-in cooling for the FT96 but none for the FT94.
A heavier or bigger runner may prefer to own an FT96 because this model can take up to 325 pounds. FT94 can withstand only up to 270 pounds.
Both models come with built in speakers and MP3 plugin. However, the FT96 also has a built-in receiver, while the FT94 has none.
Just like the FT94, FT96 also features shock assistance folding. With just one finger, you can fold or unfold this exercise machine with ease.
The FT96 is only slightly more expensive than the FT94 (0 more). If budget is not a concern, you may wish to invest in a more powerful machine. The motor is stronger, the deck slightly larger, and the features more comprehensive.
